Newcastle: 'Soul Foods' and 'Asa Don'

 

 

 

 

 

Hi guys =) How's your day?

I was sick last week so I couldn't upload any new post for my blog.

But now I am ok so I am going to upload some new posts regularly. =)

 

 

Today I and my husband went to a good café called Soul food and for dinner,

we went to Asa Don which is Japanese restaurant.

Those places were amazing, so I really want to share about those places with you guys. ^^

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

'Soul Food' was really big and pretty café and there were many colourful furniture, so when I entered in to the café, I got good feeling and mood. It was after lunch time so not many people were there which was really quiet.

 

 

 

 

We ordered two cups of iced coffee and one chorizo Sausage roll.

The cafe's atmosphere was really great so we can fully relaxed when we had our coffees.

 

 

 



 

 

The iced coffee and the sausage roll were amazing!!!! I want to eat it again :'(

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I love Japanese food because Japanese food taste vey plain compared to other country's traditional food.

 

I couldn't find the good place to have nice Japanese food in Newcastle, so when I found 'Asadon', I was really happy about it.

 

We went there around 4:30pm but it was closed because they open their restaurant at 5:30pm.

So we need to wait till 5:30pm and we could grab a sit inside.

This place was so popular and famous, so when we went there all the tables were reserved already.

SO if you are planning to go to 'Asadon'  you need to reserve first, otherwise you need to for few hours at outside to grab a sit inside.

I remember the phone in this restaurant rang continue for reservation.

Our table was reserved at 7:00 pm... haha..

We ordered Salmon nigiri, Udon and Katsu Don.

The Salmon nigiri was very fresh and delicious.:)

 



The donbury was seriously too much. hahaha

 I try to finish it but I couldnt... :'(

I think one dish is enough for two people.

 

 

 



 It was really great and yummy, the udon soup had deep and rich flavour and

katsu was very crispy and tender which was very delicious. ^^

 

If you are in Newcastle and if you like to eat Japanese food, try 'Asadon' but don't forget to reserve before you go there. ^^
